There are six car hire companies at Lyon Airport:
Avis: (Outside Office)
Budget: (Outside Office)
National/Citer/Alamo: (Outside Office)
Europcar: (Outside Office)
Hertz: (Outside Office)
Sixt: (Outside Office)
There is also AES that offers Buy Back Cars.
Each company has its own building across from car park P5 in the direction of the A42 Autoroute. There is free shuttle bus service between the terminals and car hire companies.
Shuttles are colour coded – red for terminal 1 and blue for terminal 2. To find the shuttle stop in the airport follow one of the many signs.
The shuttle has three car hire stops: 1 – Avis, Europcar and Hertz, 2 – National/Citer/Alamo and 3 – Sixt and AES. Don’t worry about taking the wrong shuttle or getting off at the wrong stop. There are route maps.
If you need to return a car there are lots of signs to show you the way.
In arrivals there are phones should you need to call one of the car hire companies.
If you need to full up before dropping off you car, there is a petrol station at the airport.
